Me and Kim!We'd like to extend a special thanks to our wedding planner, Kim Woods. Kim works as the party planner for the Crossroads European Renaissance Festival in Corona, California along with her father, Tom and his wife, Pat, who were equally gracious and accommodating. Kim was so much more than a "business associate", she was a real friend. She did everything as if it was her own special day. Things were more complicated than usual because we live in Florida. We chose to get married in California because most of our family lives there. Everything was done by phone and e-mail, and we didn't even see the festival grounds until we arrived. Baron VonLauffer and SuSuKim never flinched and rolled through every change, and as weddings go, there were quite a few! Her wonderful ideas helped to enhance our experience. Most everything you see on these pages was made possible by Kim and her family's caring hands. (Makes me want to break out in song, "Consider yourself, at home! Consider yourself, one of the family...")

If you live in Southern California or are planning a visit, go see the Faire in Corona, otherwise known as the Barony of Koroneburg. There you will meet the "famous brewer of ale in all the known world", Baron Heinrich vonLauffer (pictured right with our lovely sister, Susan). The Baron is the most lively and friendly of gentlemen. And he is a most excellent host to boot. He made our day extra-special and we are all very proud to have become Official Koroneburgers! Being a small faire, by festival standards, The Barony of Koroneburg will make you feel right at home. ("...Consider yourself, part of the furniture. We've taken to you so strong. It's clear, we're going to get along!"...).Everyone had an exceptional time, as you will see....

Lady Cindy and Lord Bob enjoy the wedding feast We also want to give a special thanks to our dear cousins, Cindy and Bob (left), and their children, Steven and Paula (right), for making their long trip to California. Cindy, my maid-of-honor, was equally helpful with our plans and we couldn't have done it without her wonderful ideas and support. It meant so much to us that they could all share in our wedding day. And to our wonderful family and thoughtful friends, we are truly grateful for their help and generosity, particularly since we forced them to dress funny.
